SCREAM, Sunset Creators Reaching Every Able Mind, offers high school students the opportunity and resources to learn and work on film, video and multimedia productions. We are based at the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center.
Fall production has begun! Two movies that are currently in progress are "Eco Cop: The Hint" by Wayland He, and "The After Party", by Jason Lo.
Over the summer, SCREAM held free production workshops to introduce new members to the group and our filmmaking process.
We completed two movie-in-a-day projects:
June 11th - An outcast meets a mysterious flower girl on the best day of his life.
Shut Up! - A silent film about a stranger who meets a stranger who makes him stranger.
Students do not have to have prior film or video experience to join SCREAM. Please contact us if you're interested in joining. (Also, if you're interested in helping out as an actor, please let us know by emailing us at scream.snbc@gmail.com.)
